Sofa Sessions started as intimate living room concert gatherings to celebrate live music, storytelling, and connection. They've since expanded—still warm and personal, but now in a space designed for sound and gathering: La Sala at Hoy Como Ayer.
Join us for a special intimate session with the fantastic Nicolle Horbath! She is a Colombian singer-songwriter whose music blends jazz, pop, and Caribbean-Latin influences into a contemporary, elegant sound that bridges both academic and mainstream audiences. A former finalist on Factor XS Colombia and recipient of the Latin GRAMMY® Cultural Foundation’s prestigious Prodigy Scholarship sponsored by Carlos Vives, she graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Film Scoring and Songwriting. Her debut EP De Magia Imperfecta (2024), produced by Latin GRAMMY® winner Juan Carlos Pérez Soto, marked her emergence as a songwriter and earned two Latin GRAMMY® nominations: Best Singer-Songwriter Album and Best New Artist. She later released Magia Viva, a live interpretation of the project that highlights her intimate, expressive performance style. Throughout her career, Nicolle has collaborated with renowned artists including Carlos Vives, Juanes, Camilo, Monsieur Periné, Sebastián Yatra, Emily Estefan, Tony Succar, and Chucho Valdés, and contributed to AleMor’s GRAMMY®-nominated Beautiful Humans Vol. 1. In 2024 she performed on Juanes’ Tiny Desk and contributed vocals to Camilo’s Cuatro, and she recently signed as a songwriter with Universal Music Publishing, cementing her place as one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary Latin music.
