CASEROLOOPS is a Venezuelan electronic/Caribbean fusion band formed in 2007 by vocalist-composer Héctor Martínez and DJ/producer Orlando Barranco. Blending electronic beats with Latin rhythms, they quickly gained national attention with their debut EP, leading to extensive touring and media appearances. Their first album Venezolano Delux(2009) produced chart-topping singles like It’s Gonna Be Fine and Contigo.
Their second album, Afronauta (2011), earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Tropical Fusion Album in 2012 and solidified their reputation for high-energy, dance-driven live shows. CASEROLOOPS has shared the stage with acclaimed acts such as Jarabe de Palo and Cultura Profética, performing across Venezuela, the U.S., and Latin America.
Known for their signature “electrocaribbean groove”, CASEROLOOPS continues to create infectious, genre-blending music, with a third album currently in production. Current members include Orlando Barranco (DJ Ortrix), Héctor Martínez, Manuel Páez, Miguel Bermudez, and Sheideguer Silva.
